What is an AD Code?

An AD Code is a 14-digit numerical code provided by the bank where your business maintains a current account. Once you receive this code from your bank, it must be registered with ICEGATE (Indian Customs Electronic Gateway) at every port from which you intend to ship your goods.

Documents Required for Registration

To ensure a smooth registration process, you will need the following digital copies:

  1. Bank Authorization Letter: A physical letter from your bank manager (formatted as per Annexure-A).

  2. Company Documents: PAN Card, IEC (Importer Exporter Code) Certificate, and GST Registration.

  3. Identity Proof: Board Resolution or Partner Authorization for the signatory.

  4. Canceled Cheque: From the bank account associated with the AD Code.

  3.  We register your code at specific ports (Air/Sea/ICD) based on your logistics.
  4. We monitor the status until the “Customs Approved” flag appears.

Note: An AD Code has lifetime validity once registered. However, if you change your bank account or open a new one for export purposes, a new registration is required
